My name is Jennifer and I am a Catholic, 40 something wife, mother of 3, homeschooler and daycare provider. My husband and I have been married for 19 years this year (2011)! We have lived in 8 different places in that time, but have resided in our current home for almost 10 years now. We have 3 wonderful children, 2 girls and a boy, and are constantly busy. My husband has worked in the same profession now for, well, too long and I have run a daycare out of our home for 6 years. All 3 kids used to be in private school, but as we all know, times change, the economy changed, and now we have one in private high school and 2 that I've been homeschooling for 1 1/2 years now. We're still finding our way in the homeschooling world, but I have to say that I don't know why we didn't start out with homeschooling. So many heartaches could have been avoided and literally thousands of dollars saved.
I started this blog out of frustration over a year ago, but time and patience got away from me and I didn't pursue it any further. This year I went to start a blog and found that I already had, woops! Now that I have "rediscovered" my blog, I've promised myself to write a little something in it EVERY day. Goodness knows what that will bring, but I'm going to give it a try.
I've been thinking about what this blog is about. I've been trying to pick one or two things to write about. Unfortunately, it's about me, and my life, and what I do. That's a pretty broad range of things. I'm not a homeschooling blogger, a recipe blogger, a child development blogger, a housewife blogger, a working mother blogger, a religious blogger, a stay at home mom blogger, a 40 something blogger, a fashion disaster blogger, a home improvement blogger, a financial freedom blogger.... sigh...
I simply don't have that kind of focus. I'm a work in progress blogger, finding my way and celebrating, if only just a little, every day, after all, this is my life and I've decided to say no more often and make a point of living with joy.

From my experience, the best type of blogging, is blogging from the heart!

DeleteI blog like you. Whatever is going on in our life. I'm glad to see someone else blogs like me! I started this year to chronicle a year in the life of a military homeschooling family. I think I'm here to stay though!
